checkers65477: (Happiness)

of course it buys happiness

Snagged at the last minute on eBay.  It holds recipes now.

My copy of Claverhouse, by Gordon Daviot, finally came!  It took two months and four days to arrive.  This verifies my theory that the postal services of multiple countries hate me.  The book isn't in great shape, but it's fine.  It has a musty, used bookstore smell to it, which I like in musty, used bookstores.  Not so much in the kitchen when I'm eating my lunch.  But so far I'm enjoying the story very much.

What a goooood idea for recipes! Hmmmm...perhaps I will check our local libraries and see if they have any spares. They could be used for all sorts of things! And Brian and I could catalogue our own books! Sweet!

I would like to have found one locally, but ended up not really looking very hard. I was on ebay, looking for something else, and one thing led to another...

Catalog your own books with a real card catalog! That would be fun.

I haven't done anything for ages, but I actually was cataloguing my books. I have a card catalogue with something like 15 drawers, but it isn't nearly as pretty as yours!
