(no subject)

I had my yearly evaluation with the big bird today. I wore a skirt to work, very unusual, and I suppose I had a bizarre sort of aging debutante look going on with my pearl earrings and tiny cardigan.

The bb asked me what kinds of things I've done this year and I was glad I took notes in with me. Once I started I was so psyched that I went on and on. And we have done great things this year. I've made a huge push for literacy and pleasure reading. Bought more popular magazines for circulation. Lots of booktalks. More graphic novels. No overdue fines, and unlimited checkout. Circulation is up 21% over last year, although that's due to many factors.

She seemed impressed. She is a big supporter, and told me to spend more money. :) I think she especially likes me because I never rock the boat and I'm dedicated to helping everyone who walks through the door. All in all, it went well.

Tonight I plan on throwing the wireless router out the window. Then running over it with the car.
