Book Sale!

I bought dozens more books for my library, including *caresses cover* River Secrets by Shannon Hale.  And for me, His Majesty's Dragon  by Novik and The Bone Doll's Twin by Flewelling.  I read last week that Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings guy) has bought the rights to the Temeraire books.  I also held onto Pinhoe Egg and The Sharing Knife (Bujold's new one) for about two hours while deciding whether or not to get them.  In the end, I didn't.  The DWJ book I couldn't justify purchasing for the library because her books aren't very popular with the readers, however much I personally would like to read it.  And the Bujold book--which looks wonderful, btw--was 26 frickin dollars!  I just couldn't do it.  I have them both on reserve at the public library.
