By "had to face something about myself" I hope you mean being antisocial, and not some health crisis??
There were three conversations going on in the room and I thought I was going to lose my mind. Seriously, I thought I'd have to go stand in the hall. I cannot abide small talk between strangers.
This DRIVES ME CRAZY. It's really hard for me to concentrate if there is irregular noise, esp. conversation, around me. You can imagine how well that works out living in a freshman dorm.
I am the most antisocial person ever born.
