My favourite Austen is probably Emma, and not just because of the wonderful title :) It's witty in a very light handed way.

also--I hear there's a rumor of you saving all the backlog and putting it up on yousendit or something--if this is true, then towards the very end of the backlog I gave someone my screenname, thinking the backlog would be deleted. But if it is going to go up on yousendit, I would greatly appreciate it if you would delete that line.

(it's hidden in the backlog above a long set of messages asking you to do what I have just asked, towards the very end. Shouldn't be hard to miss. ^_^)
