Date: 2008-02-04 05:49 pm (UTC)Plus, it looks like there is a huge disconnect between the subject headings library catalogers use, and the ones library patrons try to find. Now that search engines can do such a good job of locating what a person is looking for, it seems as if library subject headings may be past their usefulness. They tend to be pretty artificial. Interesting stuff, huh??
