My answers:

1.  You all know this one. My Username is checkers because that was my first cat.  The numbers are random, when the first 50 or so combinations I wanted were already taken.  Grr. 

2. The idea for my personal LJ's title came from a very cool essay about librarians.  The wrath part began in my library.

3.  The subtitle is a quote by George Eliot.  It struck a chord with me because I once thought it might be too late for me to go back to school and change careers.  Friends and family convinced me otherwise and it's the best  second best third best decision I've ever made.

4. My Friends Page is called Friend's Entries because I am lame .

5.  My Default Userpic is usually the book I'm currently reading.  When I started on LJ I thought it'd be fun to do that and hadn't seen anyone else doing it.  It's started some great discussions, too.

aged_crone because when I joined LJ it was because of Sounis, and everybody who had posted to Sounis in the messages I read seemed to be in high school. Which I'm not.

I don't know what it's called - aged_crone's LJ, maybe? Whatever it starts out as.

No subtitles that I know of.

My Friends page seems to be called "friends page."

My default userpic is Claverhouse because that was the first picture I downloaded or uploaded or whatever, and I haven't bothered changing it.

In other words, my LJ is highly unpersonalized, because in the time it takes to do all that I could be reading a book or something.

Hey, is that Surviving the Applewhites I spy?! For some reason that's one of the books that will just pop into my head, I think because of the title, every once in a while. I can't even remember how long ago I read it, four or six years ago... It was fun.

This meme is perfect foil to my pretentious lit'rary nonsense!

"anachred" because my Xanga was anachronistic_red and I wanted something that played with the almost-acronym of arachnid and then the arachne (because I'm a handspinner).

"Haunted Mirror" because I am fascinated by mirrors and the way they seem parts of real-world magic and so conducive to fantasy-magic. Also, just poetic sounding especially when combined with my subtitle:

"of broken worlds" because I'm reflecting on both my imaginary worlds and this one, and the commonest thread between them is that they need fixing. The journal is supposed to be my mirror, like the Lady of the Lake's, that focuses on the magic and desperateness of both reality and anything you create out of it.

"Fleeting Glimpses" because it's other peoples' mirrors, in the corner of my eye

5. My Default Userpic is

a set of Japanese-motifed modern screens, because I liked the black and white simplicity, the Asian part of me from living in Japan is still very important, if very small, and it fits in any setting I'm in on this...except the Sounis community, which I have a whole half of other allowed profile pics dedicated to. ^_^
