I feel the need to give you a severe talking-to.  An extra day off work was fine.  I enjoyed it, I admit.  But did it need to snow *that* much?  And these ridiculous temperatures--eighteen degrees?  Really?  Is that necessary?  And now a second day off?  Sure it's relaxing, but you *do* realize that I have to make these days up DURING SPRING BREAK.  I heartily disapprove of this.

Please, Weather, don't make me come out there.  I'm very disappointed in you, but it's never too late to make amends.  A 50 degree day just might do it.

Sincerely,
checkers

EDIT:  4:30 pm, 38 degrees

Much obliged, Weather.  Keep this up and you'll be back in my good graces soon.

Obviously, you have not given your weather a stern enough talking-to. I'd be taking away some of its privileges at this point. It *has* to work...I hope...

I'm sure it'll get cold here again, but we are really having a scarily unseasonable warm streak right now. Because of this, I bet while everyone else is having spring in April, we will get snow. (c:

Yeah, a couple of weeks ago we were talking about the scarily unseasonable weather, too. Just you wait!

*has lost track of how much snow is on the ground*

*is really excited that it's getting up to twenty degrees again*

If I ever get to the point that I'm really excited for 20 degrees, I'm MOVING.

Peggy knows what a weather baby I am. Sort of like John Green and his video about "outside." Do you remember that one?

I've been happy to have sunshine and temps above zero for a few days.

:-)

did I mention the bottle of wine THAT FROZE while out on my - enclosed - back porch?

Froze?? Now that's cold.

Someone told me they'd seen a video where a person threw water into the air and it froze. So, Ms. Science Person, is that true?

sure. heck, it's even been cold enough where I live to do that (not in a long time, though). kind of a nuisance, to be perfectly honest.

one of the Winter Carnival activities at Conserve - when the weather cooperates - is to blow bubbles outside. If it's cold enough they freeze into hollow bubble ice balls. Which can then be collected and played with.
so pretty!
